Welcome to Walking the West Highland Way. The online guidebook to the popular Scottish Long Distance Footpath.

Each leg of the West Highland Way will be featured here, along with all the information you'll need to walk these sections. There are free GPS files for every section, as well as an OS map on each section's page. Users are also able to review every section, offer their own advice and rate them our of 5. So you'll know which sections are the best rated, which you can put on the top of your to-do list. This will be accompanied by all the supplementary information you'll need along the path; from pubs to castles, accommodation to wi-fi hotspots.

Walking the West Highland Way is the only website you'll need! We even have our own forum for West Highland Way route advice - COMING SOON!

If you own a business along the way - you can add your business to the site for free - just contact us and we'll let you know what info we need. There's no premium listing - so we're not offering you something for free in order to sell you something later on. We just want prospective walkers of the West Highland Way to be aware of all the walker friendly businesses along the trail so they have all the information to hand whilst planning their trip.
